A: No. The protocols for reporting crimes and emergencies remain the same. All criminal incidents and other emergencies occurring on campus should be reported to the Department of Public Safety (DPS) by dialing 711 from any campus phone, or by dialing #SU (#78) from a cellular phone with local service. All other incidents or emergencies occurring off campus should be reported to the Syracuse Police Department by dialing 911.
